Abstract

Iron-folic acid supplementation (IFAS) during pregnancy is a proven intervention to prevent maternal
anemia and associated complications. Despite widespread distribution through antenatal care (ANC) services, adherence
remains suboptimal in many low-resource settings. Emerging evidence suggests that male partner involvement may
influence maternal health behaviors, yet this dimension remains underexplored in relation to IFAS adherence.
